Drug Smuggling Stopped Off Of Del Mar Beach

Early Friday morning, November 15th, federal agents stopped a panga boat carrying over $500,000 in marijuana.

10 individuals were arrested on a Del Mar beach, with the operation a partnership between U.S. Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protections Office of Air and Marine. An OAM vessel went to intercept the panga boat while a Blackhawk Helicopter assisted. Border Patrol agents searched the area and found two vehicles connected to the smuggling operation.
